Phyllostachys aureosulcata 'Spectabilis' – Green Groove
The culm is yellow with a green groove. The spectacular part is the rosy-red tinting on the young culms and sun exposed old culms. The new shoots emerge with purple sheaths that show yellow internodes as the shoots elongate! Many leaves have a few variegated stripes. Quite showy.
